The interesting things
happen between disciplines.
I am an independent researcher based in Bergen, Netherlands. My work spans experimental psychology, human and AI consciousness research, psi phenomena, and theoretical physics modeling.
Aside from my passion for writing, I love working with AI. Since LLMs entered the field, I have been amazed—and building, nonstop. I am an associative thinker who knows a bit about everything, which used to be a dreary position to be in. Now, suddenly, I can actually turn most of my thoughts into real projects instead of only imagining them.
My strength is systems thinking: seeing how the parts fit together, and finding useful connections between ideas that are usually kept apart. I follow those unexpected associations, test them, and turn the ones that hold up into research questions or working systems.
I also serve on the Board of Directors of the Dutch Society for Psychical Research and co-edit the Parapsychologie.nl newsletter.
